Poseidon Pro Indestructible Charger

Unstoppable power in your pack

The great outdoors and tech dont tend to go hand in hand. Water and electricity dont mix well, and sharp rocks and rugged landscapes arent kind to your devices. These days your smartphone can be one of the most important items in your kit list, serving as not only your means of communicating with the outside world, but also your map, compass and video camera for capturing those epic moments. Thats why we love this epic little power bank from Dark Energy, delivering reliable power in a near-indestructible package. Drop it during a scrambly descent? This thing has survived a shotgun blast. Accidentally leave it out in the rain? It can be fully submerged in water for up to 45 minutes. Worried about taking it on those deep winter adventures? The Poseidon Pro has been built to withstand temperatures from -15C up to 100C, all without ever losing the ability to charge your phone. Oh, and coming with 10,200 mAh of power, its capable of giving your phone up to 30 hours of extra juice and will do so up to 2,000 times before the internal battery degrades.

• These days, your phone is much more than just a tool for communicating with the outside world. Its your map and compass, your pocket torch, and your means to finance a quick resupply all at the same time. In fact, it could be argued that it’s the singular item that can make or break your adventure more than any other, especially if youre out of battery the moment you need it. Which is something that the folks at Dark Energy are acutely aware of. As long-distance backcountry adventurers, they often spend days at a time in their native Wasatch Mountains, hiking dozens of miles over harsh terrain in Utahs unforgiving climate. And they rely on their phones to keep them on track, safe, and connected to the outside world.

Knowing all too well the pitfalls of lesser power products, Dark Energy has made it its mission to create hyper-rugged charging solutions you can rely on in the wild. And since 2013, they have become a brand trusted, used and abused by everyone from hikers, campers and emergency workers to the US special forces all due to the outstanding quality of their kit.
